Joshua's B-Day!

Well, we had another b-day in our family! Joshua turned 28 this past Tuesday (28th) and it was such a great day. To celebrate, we went with the family to Wasabi and then headed back to our house for presents, cheesecake, and to play Joshua's new Wii! Now, THAT was fun! Sorry I don't have any pics just yet...forgot my camera cord @ home. It was a great day and I could tell he enjoyed his b-day so much...which made me a happy, happy girl. :) I love my man!

My Dad...the B-day Boy!

Okay...I feel like a LOSER. Last Sunday, October 12th, was my dad's b-day and I forgot to post about his big day. My dad checks my blog several times a week, so when you get this dad, just know I had great intentions to blog about your b-day earlier!! ;) I love you so much and I'm so thankful the Lord gave you to me. Me, Jay, & Brad were so blessed to have been rasied by a dad who loves us the way you do. You have always been such a godly example and for that, we will forever be grateful. Enjoy your Starbucks card and every time you sip on that coffee, just remember how much you are loved & appreciated by all of your children. P.S.--I have another present for you, but he won't be here until Jan 1st. I have a feeling that might be your FAVORITE gift. ;) I love you!

A Few Pics

Joshua's Uncle Eddy took some pictures of us last Saturday @ the lake and I thought I would share a few. Lots of you have been asking for prego shots, so here's me @ almost 7 1/2 months!

I've named this one our "dazed & confused" shot. :)

Here's a couple of BELLY SHOTS for you!!

Nursery in Progress

Exciting News...we finally have our baby bedding!!! Being the terribly indecisive person that I am, I went back and forth trying to decide what type of bedding I wanted to use. I couldn't decide if I wanted to do something baby-ish or if I wanted to do something that he could grow in to as he got a little older. Well, whenever I was in Charlotte a few weeks back, I ran into Pottery Barn Kids and saw the "Eli Elephant Bedding" and immediately fell in LOVE with it. It's SO ADORABLE and even cuter in person. My sweet mom bought all the bedding & curtains for us a few weeks back (THANK YOU MIMI!) and everything was shipped to us over the last week....it makes me sooooooo excited to get his nursery together!! Also, a very special THANK YOU to our friends Jordan & Seth who purchased the pillow insert, Eli pillowcase, and green gingham sheets that completed the entire set! So, the nursery is in progress....can't wait to get it done & share the pics with everyone. :)
